Not Everyone Who Wanders Is Lost

Yesterday was great. We got off to a very relaxed start. Beatrix delivered tea and coffee to Grandma and Grandad. Then we all piled into the van and drove down to Queen Street West. There we found a particularly good little bakery where we breakfasted on decadent pastries.

Then we began our wandering thing. Queen Street is like Main Street in Vancouver. It doesn't wake up until 11 am. So we wandered up one side and down the other. Whenever anyone saw something they found interesting the group would stop and wait patiently for them.

At lunch time we went to the Loaded Pirogi . Wow, so good. Then more wandering, before we vanned up and went to The Beaches. This is a trendy district in East Toronto. You know us. We're trendy. Here G & G split off and spent a quieter time in a park looking around a craft market. Grandma got a new dress. The rest of the group went to the beach and played in the water. They declared it a fun time.

Then we went to the Greek district for a bang up Greek supper.

Then we had to get Liam back in time to have a wee swim with his girls before catching a plane to Calgary.
