We parted from Janelle and Beatrix at the hotel. Janelle had made Ngila and Sheelagh matching Paris bags.
They were driving to Ottawa and we headed to the airport. George and Sheelagh were accompanied by a young lady who definitely looked like she was headed for Paris - tres chic.
At the airport, an airline rep asked if we were interested in buying a pass for the airline lounge as there was a promotion. We had 5 hours waiting ahead of us so we were in. The check in counters weren't open for another 2 hours but the young lady brushed that aside as "no problem". It was still "no problem" when Sheelagh's passport obviously was having a problem. She went behind the scene and came back to say the issues were sorted. We were on our way and had a restful wait being plied constantly with food. Ngila covered the cost of the promo by eating her weight in fruit tarts.
And then we were on the flight.
And then we were in our car being driven to our apartment through rush hour traffic. And then we tried to stay awake.
We went to the local market to load up on fruit and veg.
Ngila had her first taste of Croque Monsieur - with Orangina, Uncle Dorian.
We wandered down to the Seine where Ngila sat sketching in the park.
And then we crashed and came back for a nap.
At least, I think that's what happened!
lazy, hazy, crazy days in Paris!
