Serenity Now

After a lazy day on Wednesday when John and Von went over to Skye for a look round, we needed to get out and walk. We had gone down to the tourist information and found some local walks. We decided on the River Oich Forest Walk. This is a 7 km walk which was actually about 10 km if you walked from town.

The colours were spectacular. The bracken was coppery even with the gray  skies. The leaves were falling in golden showers. The woods were dark and spooky with spongy moss floors.
