We had a morning of rain, our first since our arrival, so we can't complain. It had eased off by afternoon and we strolled into the city. John and George went to the Volcano House to watch movies of the recent eruptions. Von and I just sauntered.
We had promised a picture of John fending off the polar bear on Grimsey Island. From their guesthouse window they over looked the marker for the Arctic Circle. John had settled down for a peaceful night under the stars when he was forced to fight for his life.
We're all thankful he prevailed!
I ate a reindeer corndog in Seward, Alaska on July 4 this summer, George! I'll eat a corndog almost anywhere!!! The reindeer option had to be tried, as we just don't have those in Arkansas or anywhere near here!!! Better than sheep's eye any day!!!
