Being an eager sort of chap, I find it hard to wait to leave for any trip. Today I lobbied hard and persuaded Sheelagh to get on the road. This is something I've learned from my son Liam who has actually missed flights by being slow to leave.
So we got away and now we are through security at the Calgary airport and have only got less that 4 hours to wait. We are not going to miss this flight. Not like my son Liam who has actually missed flights, by being slow to leave.
They have nice chairs here. Tim Horton sells doughnuts here. That fills in the time. I can get a sudoku book. The one little glitch is that we are sort of trapped, a bit, between security and the real waiting area, where Tim Horton is. But the lady said they will unlock the door to the real waiting area in about an hour and a half.
I hope that Liam reads this and is inspired to leave himself enough time when travelling. Then he won't miss any other flights, as he has in the past by being slow to leave.
I have free internet here, in this nice chair.
