Slane Ihiat, Isle of Man

The Isle of Man has surprised and delighted us.
None of us knew anything about it, really, before we arrived. Now we know the sheep have four horns;
the cats have no tails;
 the toilets are square;
and the people have three legs.
We've also learned that it's incredibly beautiful and
the people are incredibly friendly, even though they prefer Australia to Canada. "Quocunque Jeceris Stabit" is their motto. "Whichever Way You Throw Me, I Will Stand" and stand they have for over a thousand years. We'd all like to come back here.

  1. I'd like to go there too! What is that creature pictured at the top of this page? Looks like a puffer fish. Those sheep look amazing! Thanks for all the info and great pics. You tell a great story GHS!
