This beautiful country has a few problems - one of them being the power supply. There are planned "load sharing" outages daily in every part of the country. Port Elizabeth was particularly hard hit yesterday and the power was turned off before we could finish the blog. There were 4 hours of power in a 12 hour period. We don't know how homes and businesses cope. Here, at Treetops, we were given flashlights.
To continue, here is our lodge where we met for wonderful, plentiful food and conversation with fellow travellers, mostly from Holland and Germany.
The outside fire pit where we met for after safari drinks and bragging rights.
The all important "Out of Africa" tent bathroom and our viewing deck. We'd sit with our morning cuppas and watch our neighbours, the rhinos, come for their breakfast across the river.
Moon rise over the aloe trees.
