Greetings. The 15th of May and another phase of our adventure comes to an end, and another begins. We are gathering, packing, cleaning and jamming things into the poor old Camry for a drive through the mountains to Edmonton.
It is with some sadness that we leave Vancouver. During this stay we have become more involved with our church home. The little home group, though much younger, have made us feel part of them. We enjoyed a beautiful farewell gathering on Sam and Mim's rooftop terrace. Sheelagh has completed her ESL teaching with Fernando and Diana at Kinbrace, an arm of the church that works with refugees. I had fun doing a play with Eastside Story Guild a youth drama youth group. We had great teaching and warm fellowship.
We enjoyed the city, and had fun times with Adrian and Jackie. There are many ways in which we will miss BC. The flowers are the best we have seen.
However, we are very excited to be near our Edmonton family, Ngila, Beatrix and of course Liam and Janelle.
Here we go again.
